Pet Diagnostic Imaging
Little Road veterinary clinic utilizes advanced digital radiology equipment for diagnosing and managing diseases in pets. Radiographs (X-rays) provide a quick, safe, and non-invasive way to evaluate bones and internal organs, often without the need for sedation. This can be crucial in both emergent or diagnostic situations, allowing us to assess the internal pathology of your pets.
Dental radiographs are also available as part of our dental care services to diagnose tooth root infections, fractures, periodontal bone loss, and other issues below the gum line. Anesthesia, specifically the safe and effective Sevoflurane, is required for these X-rays, ensuring precise control, accurate images, and quick and easy recovery.
We also use ultrasound technology to create images of a pet’s internal organs for diagnostic purposes. Ultrasound can identify issues in various parts of the body, such as the abdomen, chest, musculoskeletal system, and neck, and may involve short-acting sedation for more nervous or anxious pets.
Laboratory Diagnostic Tests
Accurate diagnosis is essential to effective treatment, which is why we invest in reliable, non-invasive diagnostics technology.
Little Road Veterinary Clinic offers exceptional care for our clients by typically having the pet’s test results available before you leave. Our veterinary staff takes the time to discuss your pet’s test results with you, helping you evaluate the treatment options before you go.
